She should grow her hair out a touch and curl it for one. That always looks better on curvier women. Stick straight hair make a body looks bigger.
It'd also look good if she got layers and bangs that match her face (she's very pretty, it looks like she could pull off almost any.) She'll have to talk to a stylist, but she should print out some pics from a site like this...

I'm 13 and looking for a new haircut/style. My natural hair is curly, but i straighten it. Does anyone know of any haircuts/styles for my shoulder length brown hair? Preferably hair styles for straight hair, but curly is alright too. Please include pictures! Thanks for your help ppl.

I moved to a different town so I had to look for a new hairdresser. I found one that was supposedly ';very good with short hair';. So I went to her to get a short, messy pixie cut. She was cutting and cutting and when I thought she was done, she said I had too much highlighting in my hair and that she'd need to fix it. I thought she was going to color it but instead, she took the thinning shears and cut about half of my hair out! My hair is not exactly thick so when she was done I looked like I was almost bald! It took me 9 months to finally gather up the courage to get my hair cut again!Ladies who have received a bad haircut, style, or color: What's your story?
When I was 15 I got my hair cut way too short and I told the lady to color it light brown but it ended up like dark red! It looked so ugly against my skin tone. As soon as I left the salon I started crying because it looked horrible! So the next day I went back and told her I hated it and she added highlights for no extra charge. My mom still makes fun of me about how I actually cried about my hair!
When I was in Highshool I got my first highlights, I was already scared of getting color in my hair but the lady assured me that it would be ok, she sat me down and started putting them in after a while she put me under the dryer and left me there, i'd never had highlights b4 so I didnt know how long she was supposed to leave me there. she finally came back and took my hair down and I start seeing hair falling out, I start freaking out and she assured me that it was normal. I called my mom after she was done and she told me it wasn't normal at all and she left me under the dryer too long. The girl had burned my hair and it was falling off where it was burnt, It took me forever to grow out where it was burnt, needless to say I went back and b****ed her out!
I had it happen to me a couple times...when I was younger, we were quite poor, so my mom would take me to get $4 - $5 haircuts from elderly women who had no sense of style (except how to make flower arrangements) who felt the need to tell me what would look good on me rather than giving me the haircut I'd ask for. It'd always end up really short (boy style) or whacked up crooked bangs...those ladies made me cry twice before I finally told my mother I'd rather not get my haircut (wasting her $5) if they weren't gonna do what I asked. I always got over it cause it does grow back, but it sure does suck to look stupid for a while...

I think you can do a short edgy curly style but it'll have to be shorter and fairly curly to make it work. If you use styling products, that will cut down on the frizzies.
I have long natural curly hair and use matrix curly leave in conditioner. Just put in while wet and dry the hair and it cuts the frizzes out. Just make sure not to run your hand thru alot or comb it during the day. Less touching, better it looks.

I need a new look right now I have long hair with layers that have grown out. I have to spend a lot of time straighting my hair just to make it look half way decent. I dont have the time for that who does? Does anyone have a haircut that doesnt take much time in the morning to syle and still looks good? I want kind of a wash and wear style, but long enough to still put into a pony tail on ';those days';. Whenever I get layers they seem to make my hair look boxy and the layers are very blunt looking almost like a shelf if that makes sense. There isn't another option that includes the pony tail. As far as your layers seeming boxy. They might be straight cutting your hair instead of point cutting. The majority of the women in my family are hair dressers. Although I didn't go to school for it, I can roll a perm, color %26amp; highlight with the best of em. lol! If your hair is more straight than wavy, you may want to consider a body perm, then use some sort of texturizing product. It would give you that celebrity-bed-head type style. But if you get a perm, make sure they alternate the sizes of perm rods, otherwise it will look really fake. Otherwise, I'm afarid if you're hell-bent on keeping the pony tail, then your limited on your style options.

i have way curly hair too and the best thing to do is get layers if you are gonna keep it curly a lot. the curls stay in longer if you do. if your hair is frizzy like mine put some curling product in. put it in while it is still wet. and for bangs you have to either straighten them every time or blow dry them straight but i would invest in a straightner anyway cuz they are great for some bad curly hair days. for blow drying use a good hair dryer that kind of has a flat blower outer thing like this one...http://www.easycurls.com/gallery/t3_tourmaline_hair_dryer_28064.jpg....i hope this helps cuz it sure helps me :)
Sometimes a longer bob cut looks really cute with curly hair but if you have really thick hair don't do this one. Also With thicker hair try a layered shoulder length with long side swept bangs! Try a curl defining sray gel works great!

I'd do the french braid trick! Braid it. leave it in overnight, take it out and put it in a low pony tail and bobby pin your bangs back loosely. Always elegant, classy, and works with any outfit! Hope this helps!

I myself have a thick head of hair, and have to thin it too. I find that when I wash my hair the night before and dry it that it's not as puffy or thick the next day, and it's not greasy either. If you take morning showers, try switching them to night showers, and that might stop your hair from hurting when you put it back. What also works is wearing head bands. If you get a haircut with bangs, or short layers at the front this can look very professional, or very casual if you wear it right. In the summer if your hair gets frissy, I hear after washing it if you put it in saltwater, that will also help it stay the way you want it. As for when you tie your hair back, you might want to buy the ties without the visible metal because they don't break as easily, are stretchy, and you don't have to wear your hair back so tight.

You could try the people that you know. If you like the way their hair looks you could ask them where they get their hair done. You can also try the yellow pages or the internet. If you don't feel comfortable just taking the stylists' word for it you can ask to see if they have a book or pictures of what they have done to other people's hair. All the stylist's I have ever met always had a book or pictures to let new and old clients look and to give them ideas of what they could do to their hair. Once you pick a style or haircut ask the stylist what is the upkeep of it. Tell them about the type of lifestyle you live, even sweating a lot can affect how long your new do lasts.

I have curly hair! I like to keep it long because if it's cut too short it will curl up and be even more short than you wanted..so I'd keep it long, even up to your shoulders is fine. You can have layers...I do, and they look normal. I also have side bangs, not big ones, but they're growing out. Bangs look nice, I just chose not to have them for the summer. But, I don't really have any other recommendations because curly hair can do just about anything! I always take a picture of the hairstyle I want to my hairdresser and she gets it perfect! ...if it's a straight hairstyle you want, you can always straighten it. i have curly hair. I'd say it looks good long-ish (just a bit past the shoulders) with a middle or side parting, and side-swept bangs. the bangs can look okay curly, but if you straighten them it will look even better.

well... the obvious long but if u want to go differentand r willing to go short cut ur hair to shoulder length(be sure u cut it dry so that wen it is curled it is at shoulder length) add a couplpe off layers only on the upper portion of ur hair. also wash ur hair and dry it again right after its cut bcuz curly hair curls different everytime u wash it then touch it up after washing GL!!! hope i helped

i have curly hair. I'd say it looks good long-ish (just a bit past the shoulders) with a middle or side parting, and side-swept bangs. the bangs can look okay curly, but if you straighten them it will look even better.

Try some brown high-top Converse if you're wearing any kind of colored shirt (anything but black, gray or white) and plain old white sneakers are okay too if you're doing something sporty. Don't go too short with your hair- get it kind of shaggy, but definitely not past your ears. Keep it long enough you can get a handful, because it's fun to play with (for girls).

I can never seem to find a haircut that's perfect for me. I have medium, natural brown hair and dark brown eyes. Right now my hair length is a little above my shoulders, with some layers. I recently chopped off a lot of my very thick hair after also getting sick of it. One of the easiest styles that I use for work is to get some nice headbands and just wash, comb, and put in the band. It gets a cute fanned-out look behind me, stays out of my face and isn't long enough to bother me. As for tips with the different textures of your hair, talk to your hairstylist. Maybe a loose perm in some areas so that you have wave and curls all around? Or vice versa straighten the curly parts. Whatever length you go with, get long layers cut in! It will cut down on the poofiness and give it movement, not to mention making it feel lighter
I also have extremely thick hair, and I used to wear it short (think Paige Davis from Trading Spaces). While I was growing it out, I had long layers put in my hair and asked my stylist to thin out my hair with a razor, and it felt so much better. It will also give your hair more of a bounce to it.

Why don't you ask your cosmo to thin your hair out, I don't recommend using a razor to thin curly hair, but she can use a pair of thinning shears on your hair to take some of the bulk out and see if that doesn't help somewhat.

I recently chopped off a lot of my very thick hair after also getting sick of it. One of the easiest styles that I use for work is to get some nice headbands and just wash, comb, and put in the band. It gets a cute fanned-out look behind me, stays out of my face and isn't long enough to bother me. As for tips with the different textures of your hair, talk to your hairstylist. Maybe a loose perm in some areas so that you have wave and curls all around? Or vice versa straighten the curly parts. Whatever length you go with, get long layers cut in! It will cut down on the poofiness and give it movement, not to mention making it feel lighter
I also have extremely thick hair, and I used to wear it short (think Paige Davis from Trading Spaces). While I was growing it out, I had long layers put in my hair and asked my stylist to thin out my hair with a razor, and it felt so much better. It will also give your hair more of a bounce to it.

A long layered bob would look really cute on you. The layering will remove heavy layers of hair from brushing your neck al the time and the bob make any face the focal point of your style.
Go with Shag Layering. It's a really simple hair cut and it will thin your hair out just a little. If layering is simply crazy talk for you, then try a simple bob, like Keira Knightley(below).
I think layers are great you can brounce them and for some weired reason, it makes u feel so sexy and untouchable when you have bouncy haur. You can also google penelope cruz and see how her hair is and see if u like it cause she has a lot of hair too.

So, what I do is I leave to dry naturally (but towel dry it and put a bit of smoothing gel on it) and it goes to actual waves/curls.

I have an addiction to coloring my hair every month so my hair is pretty thin so while it repairs itself I bought extensions ! They look great thats just a taught if you don't like the thin hair issue. But I would do layers around your face.

Ask to have it cut above the collar in the back and around the ears on the sides with lot of layers and short bangs. The haircut is very low maintenance except to keep the look, you will need to it trimmed every 6-8 weeks. I think you should do it, you will love the results,

You probably shouldnt get a SUPER short haircut.Get a haircut thats shaggy.Making it to short is almost never a great idea,do not get any sideburns or that kinda stuff.make it just enough to cover your ears,that way you could still style it.Pluus it will grow to its normal length quicker and you can experiment with it.Sorry if this isnt great advive,but Im no expert on girls haircuts,or guys for that matter...

You look super uber cute :) to look cutier i suggest that you keep this style in the pics but just go for a shorter version and just shorten as much as you can from the fringe so that you get a more sleeker and clearner look!!! :) Kudosss

dye parts of it random colours, and also you can use clay to spike it up/backcomb.

There are also many more magazines for haircuts that can give you ideas. Also this is your best bet b/c then when you go to the hairdresser you have a good picture for them of what you want.
