Where's a good place to go to get a haircut/style?

Hi,

I'm tired of my hair and need to find a good place to go, where the hairdresser will help me pick out a hairstyle that will look good on me, and be easy for me to maintain and do everyday. Anyone have any suggestions?Where's a good place to go to get a haircut/style?
Hi,

You could try the people that you know. If you like the way their hair looks you could ask them where they get their hair done. You can also try the yellow pages or the internet. If you don't feel comfortable just taking the stylists' word for it you can ask to see if they have a book or pictures of what they have done to other people's hair. All the stylist's I have ever met always had a book or pictures to let new and old clients look and to give them ideas of what they could do to their hair. Once you pick a style or haircut ask the stylist what is the upkeep of it. Tell them about the type of lifestyle you live, even sweating a lot can affect how long your new do lasts.
try one of the free hairstyle websites where you can load your photo and try different styles one I like is http://www.dailymakeover.com , print the different styles out and take it with you to the Salon.

an advice: when you go to the Salon always pick up a senior Stylist for the ';first time'; or when you need to change your haircut and try something new -- he will be much more expensive but you need someone who is experienced and trained to give you the new hair style and look that will match you best - after that you can maintain the haircut by going every 4-5 weeks to a less expansive stylist and just ask them to follow the same cut by just trimming the ends :)

enjoy your hair cut :)
Try a hair stylist or beauty salon.
